Grand Large Housing and District Dunkirk

The building is located in between the city and the sea for the purpose of orientation to the city pier. The urban district's strategic plan is based on principles the which are inspired by Agenda 21, Notably in terms of its social, environmental and economic aspects.

The district brings together different building types and includes public spaces on diverse scales: a crescent park with individual houses; the quay with gabled apartment buildings; low-rise apartment buildings with green terracing and the crescent gardens at the heart of the individual lots.

Rennie Mackintosh Building School Of Art Glasgow

This is a school building in Charles Rennie Mackintosh, this building is the most famous and certainly the most respected, Glasgow School of Art. The GSA building was constructed in 1897 to 1909. At first glance it may seem like a brick building that looks boring. Glasgow School of Art is a building of global importance, Recorded in most Histories of 20th Century Architecture.

Thyssenkrupp Quartier Forum Building

This imposing building has a unique design. The ThyssenKrupp Quarter consists of an arrangement of individual buildings embedded into a green carpet lined with trees. The overall design principle applied to all new buildings of the campus is referred to as “shell to core”. All buildings of the quarter are composed of L-shaped individual volumes that clasp around a shared centre. On building Q1, the horizontal slats of the outside sunshield characterize the “rough shell”. Here, bevel-edged perforated metal sheets made from stainless steel represent the universal design idea. Modern Elevated Houses On Stilts

Interesting combination of playful and lighthearted in terms of form and colour pallette, while also coming accross as somber and heavy handed in the structure and material category. A big test for this house will be in the way it ages as it has a lot of painted steel, and fabric and integrates trees, or do things not grow old in Never Never land. Overall pretty delightful.

House in Never Never Land has been built in and among the site’s existing features, with trees growing up through the interiors of some of the rooms. As well as the main house, two rentable cabins sit on the 1300 square-metre site with access via bridges. The main part of the house is supported on a concrete structure while the elevated terraces are supported on a metal frame.
